On a sunny November day, Gardens at Columbine memory care residents played putt-putt golf in the courtyard.
Setting up the course
Our team set up a mini-golf course in the courtyard. Residents took turns putting while neighbors and staff cheered them on.
Enhancing Well-being with Every Swing
The benefits of the day were manifold. Physically, the gentle activity helped residents with their hand-eye coordination and mobility. Mentally, figuring out the best angles for their shots kept their minds active. Socially, the event was a great way for residents to interact, enhancing feelings of belonging and joy.
